I said goodbye to my dear mother and friend on Monday. How blessed I have been to have been loved by her for so many years. We loved being with each other and brought out the best in each other. There is a void that will never be filled. I just hope I can pass on some of the traditions that she created. May I be as selfless as she. Others always came first. Gloria

On Aug 7th I said goodbye to the vessel in which my grandmother, Bess Smith, resided. The vision will be dearly missed; the beauty of her face, her lovely grace, and infectious smile. Her love and spirit will never depart. She was integral in helping me grow to be the woman I am today. She was my role model; kind but with a bit of sass.
Thank you Grandma for the love, joy, and care you have given me all my life. Your spirit will reside in me until I am no more. May I continue to make you proud.
